Fun Tennis Camps for Kids Aged 6–13 in South Dublin

This summer, join us at Kilternan Parish Lawn Tennis Club for two exciting weeks of junior tennis camps delivered by the coaching team at Play Tennis.

Our camps are designed to help children build confidence, improve their tennis skills, stay active, and make new friends in a safe, energetic, and welcoming club environment.

Whether your child is a complete beginner or already playing matches, our camps combine professional coaching, fun games, skill development, movement training, and supervised match play to create an unforgettable summer experience.

We offer Early Supervised Drop-Off (8:30AM) for an additional €25 per week. Perfect for busy parents needing an earlier morning start.

Junior Summer Camp FAQ​

 

What age groups are the camps suitable for?

Our Junior Summer Camps are designed for children aged 6–13 years old.

Does my child need tennis experience?

No. We welcome complete beginners, improvers, and more experienced junior players. Children will be grouped appropriately where possible.

What should my child bring?

Please bring:

  • Tennis racket

  • Water bottle

  • Packed lunch & snacks

  • Tennis shoes/runners

  • Comfortable sports clothing

  • Rain jacket/sunscreen depending on weather

What happens in bad weather?

Our camps continue in most weather conditions. In periods of adverse weather, activities may move indoors to the clubhouse where children can enjoy:

  • Tennis quizzes

  • Team games

  • Coordination activities

  • Tennis education sessions

  • Fun group activities and challenges

Safety is always our priority.

How many children are in each camp?

We limit camps to 16 players per week to ensure quality coaching, safer supervision, and a more enjoyable experience for everyone.

Is Early Drop-Off available?

Yes. Supervised Early Drop-Off is available for an additional €25 for all 5 camp days.

Can my child attend with a friend?

Absolutely. Many children attend with friends, siblings, or teammates. We will do our best to keep friends together where suitable.

Are children supervised at all times?

Yes. Children are supervised by the coaching team throughout camp activities and during designated breaks.

What if my child has allergies or medical needs?

Please include all allergies, medical conditions, medications, injuries, or additional support requirements during the booking process so we can help provide a safe environment.

What footwear should children wear?

Children should wear runners or tennis shoes suitable for sports activity. Football boots or casual fashion footwear are not permitted on court.

What if my child misses a day?

Unfortunately, missed camp days cannot be refunded, transferred, or carried forward.

Do camps sell out?

Yes — places are limited and camps may sell out in advance. Early booking is strongly recommended.
